Over the five years of its existence, the "Downstream Caspian and Central Asia" conference has become the largest regional platform and the main regional event in the industry. Each year, the event brings together high-ranking representatives of the largest oil and gas companies, oil refineries and petrochemical plants in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as foreign partners representing the most influential global engineering and technology companies. This is the only specialized conference that gathers all representatives of current projects on refining and petrochemicals in the Caspian and Central Asian regions.
In 2018, the meeting will be held in one of the largest cities in Kazakhstan, the city of Almaty. From 4 to 5 December, the five-star hotel, Rixos Almaty, will open its doors to representatives of the oil refining and petrochemicals sector from around the world. The conference will be held with the official support of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the Kazenergy Association.
The conference agenda will, as usual, uncover issues directly reflecting the current tasks of the sector in the region. It will consider current world trends, project management challenges, and the issues of project financing and investments, as well as reviewing the most important projects, the different ways to increase operational efficiency, and the latest solutions in the field of technology.
Among the regular participants of this conference are senior representatives of such companies as Kazmunaygas, Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries, Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company, Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, SOCAR, Kyrgyz Petroleum Company, Uzbekneftegaz, KLPE, Petrokazakhstan Oil Products and many others.
