On December 7, 2018 a meeting of the Sectoral Commission on social partnership and regulation of social and labor relations of oil and gas industry was held at the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The parties of the social partnership participated at the meeting: authorized state body represented by the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan; employers: JSC “NC “KazMunayGaz”, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating BV, LLP “Tengizchevroil”, JSC “Embamunaigas”, JSC “SNPS-Aktobemunaygas”, LLP “PNHZ”, LLP “PSA”; “Atameken” National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, “KAZENERGY” Association; representatives of workers representing industrial trade unions: PA “Industrial Professional Union of Oil and Gas Workers”, PA “Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Industrial Trade Union” and PA “ Union of Chemical, Petrochemical and Related Industries”.
The key issue on the agenda was the signing of the Supplementary Agreement No. 3 to the Sectoral Agreement in oil and gas, oil refining and petrochemical industries of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2017-2019 by the Sectoral Commission parties due to the need to harmonize it with the General Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, republican associations of workers and republican associations of employers for 2018-2020.
The parties also summarized the implementation of the protocol of the Sectoral Commission of September 25, 2018 on the activities of the Working Group in preparation of a Work Plan to establish safe working conditions and reduction of industrial injuries in oil and gas, oil refining and petrochemical industries.

At the end of the meeting, B. Akchulakov, Vice-Minister of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan congratulated everyone on the upcoming Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan and presented departmental awards: the medal “For contribution to the development of oil and gas industry” to L. Akhmurzina, the Executive Director for Human Capital Development of “KAZENERGY” Association, and E. Mustafina, Deputy Chairman of the Public Association "Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Industrial Trade Union".
