On April 25-26, 2019, KAZENERGY Association held the meeting of the Working Group on the development of the Sector Agreement in the oil and gas, oil refining and petrochemical industries of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2022
The meeting was attended by more than 50 Working Group members, including: representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, KAZENERGY Association, KazMunayGas NC JSC, Tengizchevroil LLP, Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V., Mangistaumunaigas JSC, CNPC AktobeMunaiGas JSC, OGCC KazStroyService JSC, North Caspian Operating Company N.V., KazTransOil JSC, KazTransGas JSC, Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc. LLP, KAZGIPRONEFTETRANS ENGINEERING COMPANY LLP, PetroKazakhstan Oil Products LLP, Embamunaigas JSC, Pavlodar Oil Chemistry Refinery LLP, Kazakhturkmunai LLP, NGO Branch Trade Union of Oil and Gas Sector Workers, NGO Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Branch Trade Union, NGO Branch Trade Union of Chemical, Petrochemical and Related Industries Employees, Sino-Kazakhstan Great Wall Drilling Company LLP Trade Union Organization, NGO Burgylau Local Workers’ Trade Union, NGO Local Trade Union of CNPC-Aktobemunaigas JSC Workers.
During the first day of the meeting, the work was implemented in subgroups by the following activities: occupational health and safety, general legal issues and basic remuneration principles.
On the second day, the Working Group paid special attention to the issues, such as: remuneration system, relationship and obligations of the parties, employment, gender and youth policy priority areas, expansion of production councils in enterprises, etc.
The Working Group will continue its work remotely and will renew the discussions in Nur-Sultan city in the end of May of this year.
