On May 23, 2019, KAZENERGY Association held another regular meeting of the Working Group on the development of the Sector Agreement in the oil and gas, oil refining and petrochemical industries of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2022.
The meeting was attended by the Working Group members: representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, KAZENERGY Association, KazMunayGaz NC JSC, Tengizchevroil LLP, Mangistaumunaigas JSC, CNPC-Aktobemunaigas JSC, North Caspian Operating Company N.V., KazTransOil JSC, KazTransGaz JSC, Kazakhstan Petrochemical Industries Inc. LLP, KAZGIPRONEFTETRANS ENGINEERING COMPANY LLP, PetroKazakhstan Oil Products LLP, Embamunaigas JSC, NGO Branch Trade Union of Oil and Gas Sector Workers, NGO Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Branch Trade Union, NGO Branch Trade Union of Chemical, Petrochemical and Related Industries Employees, Sino-Kazakhstan Great Wall Drilling Company LLP Trade Union Organization, NGO Burgylau Local Workers’ Trade Union, NGO Local Trade Union of Karachaganak Petroleum Operating B.V. Workers, NGO Local Trade Union of Ozenmunaigaz Workers.
In order to improve the quality of the developed document, KAZENERGY Association organized meetings of the Working Group members with Pricewaterhouse Coopers Tax and Advisory Academy consultants, Diana Darbekova – Business Coach, Manager at PWC Kazakhstan, Oleg Sirbu – Senior Consultant at PWC Kazakhstan, and with Ernst & Young LLP consultant, Dmitry Konovalchik – Director, Head of HSE Department at Ernst & Young. The topics discussed during the meetings are Remuneration Management and Security Based on Trust: “+1” Concept as a new modern approach beyond “Zero Injury” Concept, respectively.
The Working Group members discussed the proposals on the draft Sector Agreement in the oil and gas, oil refining and petrochemical industries of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2022. The next meeting of the Working Group is scheduled for June of this year.
