KAZENERGY Association held a working meeting of members of the Association with the Director of the Department of Environmental Regulation Aisulu DOSSANOVA.
The central topic of the discussion was the topical issues of implementation of the national climate policy and improvement of the carbon regulation system.
In the format of an open dialog, the parties discussed approaches to the allocation of quotas under the National Plan being developed, as well as possible support mechanisms for industry participants.
The participants of the meeting expressed interest in ensuring predictability and cross-sectoral balance in the formation of carbon mechanisms.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue consultations and expert exchange on key issues, including both strategic guidelines and practical aspects of the implementation of climate initiatives in Kazakhstan.
