LESS THAN A MONTH REMAINS UNTIL THE START OF THE LARGEST INDUSTRY EVENT, FROM APRIL 28 TO 30, 2026, THE 14TH KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION ON OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND INDUSTRIAL SECURITY KIOSH 2026 WILL BE HELD IN ASTANA.
The event traditionally brings together representatives of government bodies, international organizations, industrial businesses, and solution providers in the field of HSE to discuss modern approaches to ensuring labor safety.
This year, the conference program will be held on April 28–29, and the exhibition will be open from April 28 to 30 at the International Exhibition Center EXPO.
Currently, 76 companies from 9 countries have confirmed their participation in the exhibition: Azerbaijan, Belgium, India, Kazakhstan, China, Latvia, Russia, Turkey, and Uzbekistan. Meanwhile, 16 companies are participating for the first time, indicating a growing interest from international businesses in the market for occupational safety and industrial security solutions. Special attention this year will be given to the participation of new companies, including SPEZPOSHIV, STARLINE, Astak Group, IPM GROUP, OLDOS, Kazpromeducation, INFORM CENTER, DARIS GROUP, RUNO GROUP, APPLE SAFETY, and other manufacturers and suppliers of solutions for the HSE sector.

The conference is expected to be attended by representatives of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population Askarbek Yertayev and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva.
April 28 — digital solutions, artificial intelligence, and international standards
The first day of the conference will be dedicated to the digital transformation of the occupational safety system and professional risk management.
The program will open with the panel session "Modern Approaches and Digital Solutions in Professional Risk Management Systems," where experts will discuss the transition to a risk-oriented model of ensuring labor safety, the implementation of digital monitoring tools, and the use of data for managerial decision-making. Special attention will be given to synchronizing national approaches with international standards for professional risk assessment.
The next panel session "AI and Analytics for Risk Prediction" will focus on the practical application of artificial intelligence in industrial safety - from predictive analytics of industrial injuries to automated systems for detecting violations and integrating digital solutions into corporate HSE systems of companies.
In the session "Social Insurance in the Era of Labor Transformation: New Architecture of Responsibility and the Role of Artificial Intelligence," participants will discuss how the social protection system for workers is changing in the digital economy, flexible employment forms, and the development of platform employment. Experts will explore the possibilities of using AI to predict social risks and improve the efficiency of insurance systems.
The central event of the business program will be the Strategic Plenary Session "Implementing Global Occupational Safety and Industrial Security Standards in Kazakhstan," which will bring together representatives of government bodies, international organizations, businesses, and social partners. During the session, key issues of developing the occupational safety and industrial security system, personnel potential, digital risk management tools, improving labor legislation and law enforcement practices, as well as the positions of employers and trade unions on current industry challenges will be widely discussed.
The first day program will conclude with an expert session of the International Labor Organization dedicated to psychosocial work environment issues and modern approaches to risk management in the workplace, as well as a panel discussion "Industrial Medicine: New Regulatory Requirements and Implementation Practices," where innovative approaches to protecting workers' health and developing medical support systems at enterprises will be considered.
April 29 — safety culture and leadership in HSE
The second day of the conference will be dedicated to safety culture and managing critical risks at enterprises.
The panel session "Focus on Industrial Safety as Part of Enterprise Culture" will address the implementation of digital control tools, changing the balance of responsibility between the state and owners of hazardous production facilities, and modern approaches to managing industrial risks.
Within the HSE Leadership Panel "How to Manage Critical Risks and Prevent Major Incidents," safety service leaders of major international and Kazakhstani companies will share practical experience in managing production risks and forming a safety culture at large industrial facilities.
The practical focus of the program will be enhanced by the training session "Working in Confined Spaces," where participants will analyze real causes of emergency situations, risk assessment features, and modern approaches to organizing safe work at enterprises.
The business program will culminate in a foresight session, where moderators of strategic discussions will summarize the conference and form key directions for the development of the occupational safety and industrial security system in Kazakhstan. Participants will also experience Safety Games — an interactive championship on occupational safety and industrial security aimed at sharing experiences and increasing professional engagement of industry specialists.
