From 24 to 28 November this year, the VOGEC 2020 first international online exhibition and conference in the oil and gas industry is being held in the IEXPO interactive virtual space. The KAZENERGY Association is the official information partner of the project.
VOGEC 2020 (Virtual Oil & Gas Exhibition + Conference) is a platform for representatives of leading suppliers, companies and media resources in the oil and gas industry. The VOGEC innovative virtual reality format allows demonstrating detailed 3D copies of equipment (with capability to demonstrate functionality), creating virtual stands, scheduling video meetings and conducting direct negotiations.
It is possible to navigate the virtual exhibition inside thematic pavilions using an avatar, watch presentations and industrial models of participants on-line, and communicate with company representatives. A distinctive feature of the IEXPO interactive platform is full immersion and live interaction with the audience and exhibitors, virtual exchange of business cards and communication using the audio communication module.
More than 500 representatives of leading companies and suppliers take part in the exhibition. The exhibitors include Tengizchevroil, North Caspian Operating Company N.V. (NCOC), KazTransGas, as well as representatives of Akimats of West Kazakhstan and Atyrau regions and many others. The event brings together engineers, chemical technologists, specialists in energy and communications, procurement, exploration and production, safety, environment and labor protection, EPC contract managers, digitalization and automation specialists, as well as the public sector and specialized universities of the country.
Schedule of VOGEC 2020 events:
- November 24-26: a virtual exhibition for a professional audience with a demonstration of the functionality of digital copies of equipment and stands of suppliers, as well as an opportunity to arrange a video meeting and direct negotiations.
- November 26: "New technologies in Subsoil Use” online conference.
- November 27-28: the exhibition will open for students of Kazakhstan specialized universities and everyone who wants; it will be possible to see the pavilions and exhibits without registration.
- November 27: the final of the annual competition for start-up projects in oil and gas industry - Atyrau Energy Challenge. The competition was organized by AtyrauHUB together with Petrocouncil.kz to find the innovative solutions for oil and gas industry, stimulate local content and a digital startup ecosystem, attract startups and investors to the oil and gas industry.
