KAZENERGY association and Karachaganak Petroleum Operating have been holding StudentDigigtalFest team competition among the student teams of Kazakhstan universities since 2019.
StudentDigitalFest is an effective platform for the achievement of intellectual potential of student teams and development of technological solutions in the field of digitalization.
From May 17 to June 30 current year, KAZENERGY received Applications on
www.kazenergy.com from student teams for the participation in the second season of the Competition. In total, 34 teams from 14 universities of Kazakhstan submitted their Applications.
Students of all years of study for undergraduate and graduate programs at the age of 18 to 25 could take part in the Competition.
According to the conditions of the Competition, three Terms of Reference to be chosen by the teams were offered:
- Automation of inventory of pollutant and greenhouse gases emissions and energy efficiency;
- Implementation of a remote surface pressure sensor system to improve and optimize well integrity monitoring;
- Design a search engine based on pattern recognition for the scanning and detection of designated characters in technical drawings.
The task of the teams is to develop a technological solution for one Terms of Reference. Development of solutions will be supported by continuous consultations with KPO experts.
The first Zoom meeting of teams with KAZENERGY and KPO experts will take place On 2 July 2021 at 4 pm Nur-Sultan time.
