On November 10, 2025, the KAZENERGY Association participated in a training seminar held at the venue of JSC NC “KazMunayGas” for KMG Group companies on the implementation of the National Qualifications System (NQS) in Kazakhstan.
The speakers included Lazzat Akhmurzina, Executive Director of the KAZENERGY Association, and experts from the National Body for Professional Qualifications — JSC “Center for the Development of Labor Resources” under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In her presentation, Lazzat Akhmurzina highlighted key aspects of the development of the National Qualifications System in Kazakhstan, shared experience in developing professional standards, noted the support of the Ministry of Energy in implementing the NQS, and discussed major updates to the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
During the seminar, experts from the Center for the Development of Labor Resources presented participants with a step-by-step algorithm for the transition from qualification directories (ETKS, KS, TKH, and TKHD) to professional standards for the 2025–2030 period. They also explained the main provisions of the updated National Qualifications Framework, approved on August 25, 2025, and guided participants through the process of developing sectoral qualification frameworks and professional standards through practical exercises.
The KAZENERGY Association will continue to promote and explain the tools of the National Qualifications System among energy sector participants, providing expert and methodological support to industry companies.
