In his welcoming remarks at the opening ceremony of the Summer School Mr. Jambulat Sarsenov, WPC Energy Vice President for Diversity, Inclusion, and Youth, emphasized that WPC Energy has been actively supporting youth in the energy sector for over 20 years, and this KBTU project marks the beginning of a cycle of many new youth projects that will be implemented with the support of the Kazakh National Committee of WPC Energy, represented by the KAZENERGY Association.
Furthermore, the welcoming address highlighted the special significance of this project in the run-up to the 125th anniversary of Kazakhstan's oil industry, as the country's oil and gas sector holds a significant place in the global energy market, and industry professionals continuously strive to expand international cooperation, including within the framework of the reputable international organization WPC Energy.
